About the event

Kimmeridge Bay 2026

About Kimmeridge Bay:

Kimmeridge Bay, in the Purbeck Isles, forms part of the Jurassic Coast, which is a World Heritage Site. The coast itself is also part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and the whole area is part of the Dorset National Landscape. The bay is roughly semi-circular, facing southwest. It is backed by low cliffs and beneath the cliffs is a large wave-cut platform and a rocky shore with rock pools and attendant ecology. Kimmeridge Bay is a well known surf, canoe and dive site.

The Plan:

We are planning to camp and dive over the May bank holiday weekend. We will likely take the club's Bell Tent(s). Diving from the shore and with the option to also dive out of Swanage on the hardboats. Further details for Swanage Charters & Diver Down are below.
